Wooden Train House

Assignment Ext. Train/Wooden House Car

- Design a wooden train house that a old lady calls home.

The criteria: the train car is still on some tracks, but separated from the rest of the train. The train car can be any part of the train: the caboose, a box car, or coal transport.

It must be made out of wood, and has been modified by this women to accommodate her living needs. There should be props attached around the train that help to: aide in the character of the dwelling, give a visual description of who she is, how she lives and information about her personality. (Use your imagination here!)

--Please do not go off into a tangent by adding your own reference and going in another direction. That would get you fired in a studio environment, and therefore should not be done in college!! Stay within given guidelines, but be creative. -

Media: This assignment was geared to be a environment drawing, starting with a series of thumbnails sketches, that lead to shape studies of the props and other elements, that then aide in the development of a rough drawing, which will become a final clean up drawing to be transfered into Photoshop for paint.

(Those of that do not draw may consider approaching this as a Photoshop montage or other graphic style.)
